M Janet Mars is a Chilean singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, visual artist, graphic designer, video artist and writer from Santiago, Chile.
He is the lead guitarist on Surfing Arcanis, and produces music under the aliases of electronica project Krieger RD, hip-hop as E. Stiles and chiptune music as Lucca. He has also released music as a solo artist, with his experimental noise debut, Starozytnym Konstelacje, and his jazz/chamber music second album, the upcoming Janet Jouissance.
He’s the founder of small independent record label Mesmerize Records, and curator of the Savant record series. He has executive-producer credits with artists such as cut-up artist Ellipse Elkshow, Chriddof, Sam Kaplan, Super Flat, italian artist Kurodama and electronica producer Kurashi, and has done production work for comedian Noël Kristi Wells, rock band Watch Our For Rockets, pop trio The Good Natured and Circulo Polar Artico.
As a visual artist, he’s done cover artwork for artists such as Imani Coppola, Little Jackie, Iron Gogi and more, including most of his own music releases. He’s also designed logotypes and fonts. He also works on his own original artwork pieces, ranging from surrealism to pixel art.
He’s worked on various experimental video short subjects, and done music videos for his own music. He’s worked on several films still in pre-production, penned several short fiction pieces, ranging from surrealism to satire, and non fiction film criticism.
