Hello people! Today I released my second solo album, the seductively titled Janet Jouissance. It features works for piano, orchestra, strings, drone music, chamber jazz and more. I’ve been working on this album for four years, so I’m very glad I finally finished it. Please check it out, share it around, download it for free or give me a couple of bucks for it, but most of all, just listen to it. Thanks in advance, and cheers! FREE DOWNLOAD

Melodies, chords, variations and downbeats in a steady march; the invisible beat, working from instinct and deja vu, letting the piece speak in its own language. I think this is going to be one of my favourite compositions I’ve had the chance to channel through my fingers. My new chamber jazz piece, “Fa’ la cosa giusta”, inspired not only by Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing”, but also inspired by its score composed by Spike’s father Bill Lee, with some small shades of David Kitay’s score for “Ghost World” and Ornette Coleman in the arrangements, and finally, a little bit of “Frances the Mute”-era Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Dolls Can’t.
This piece will be on my next solo album, “Janet Jouissance”, to be released in 2012. If you want to hear more of my serious music compositions, you can check my debut album “Starozytnym Konstelacje” here. :)
