Lo último de los Surfing Arcanis— “Sonatine/Arcanum: Theme from Max Payne” is the latest release by my suprasensory surf rock band, and our third double-A single.
This is the first of two tracks: this one’s inspired and dedicated to one of my favourite filmmakers, japanese director/actor Takeshi Kitano. Both this song and “~Max Payne” are songs about violence, nostalgia, melancholy, calm and fury— themes that feature in both Takeshi Kitano’s “Sonatine” and Sam Lake’s “Max Payne.” Enjoy!

“Yes, Virginia, We Play Surf Rock” is the first single from my new surf rock band, Los Surfing Arcanis. Inspired by the music of The Astronauts and the suprasensory surf of Trey Spruance’s UR, this song is a christmas death surf guitar extravaganza or something else or another.
