End
“End” is a small simple DOS/Windows app that does nothing. Yes. That’s exactly it. It opens up and instantly closes itself. Why? Oh, right. Well, I’ve been using it for certain types of files, so they don’t open a “Open With” dialog box. See it as just an exercise in futility, mostly trying to make a silent program. I’ll leave it here, just in case somebody finds any use for it.
- End 0.1 (3,37 KB) — DOS. Opens a small visible window for the command prompt.
- End 0.2 (25,3 KB) — Windows. Doesn’t open any visible window, so it’s properly silent.
- End 0.3 (3,17 KB) — Windows. Doesn’t open any visible window, it’s properly silent and much smaller than the previous edition. It was compiled with MinGW.
For all programmers out there: If you can make an even smaller version of this application, with the condition that it’s as silent and small as my 0.3 one, then send me an email.
